A Great Place To Work

Case Study
When your company mission is to help provide fantastic working environments for others, yours better be top notch! When we were asked to create a space for A Great Place To Work in a brand new building, the final product had to be just right.

A Great Place To Work moved into a brand new building on Queen's Quay. As one of the first tenants into the building we were charged with getting in and getting the space done prior to the building being over-run by other tenants moving in.

With an open ceiling concept, one of our main challenges in executing this project was the noise levels that we were going to encounter through the mechanical systems. In order to maintain low noise levels, we wrapped the heating units in sound suppressing blankets.

Polished concrete floor and the custom artwork that was installed on the walls brightened up the space and made a strong visual statement.

Lesson learned
Noise issues can creep up on you if you are not paying attention. With hard surfaces being the current trend, sound bounces around with nothing to absorb it. Thinking ahead on a project as to what the final outcomes will be, helps us from the initial planning stages. It's better (and cheaper) to ask the questions early than to deal with the consequences later.

The space by the lake turned out fantastic and it truly is A Great Place To Work.
